Hello everyone, my name is Ivette Clark, I am a P2 student at the University of Arizona College of Pharmacy-Phoenix Campus. Ever since we were introduced to IPSF during orientation week, I was instantly intrigued by the unique opportunity to travel the world and experience pharmacy in a different culture. I am thoroughly excited to meet my KGU penpals, experience the KGU campus, and of course see the beauty of Japan and experience their culture. Japan has always been on the top of my list on places to travel to, I have always been so fascinated by their culture. This is a trip of a lifetime and I am so grateful that I get to share this experience with my fellow U of A classmates and faculty. Even though I am beyond the moon for this upcoming trip, I definitely do not lack anxiety about it. This will be my first time traveling over 11 hours on an airplane and the first time I travel without my husband and my children. I have also tried my best to learn some Japanese, but its a beautiful language that I have not yet mastered. Regardless of the fears of airplane ride and language barriers, I am full heartedly ready to immerse myself in this experience.
Let's have a great time and make some wonderful memories!
