Hello, my name is David Perez. I am a 3rd year pharmacy student at the University of Arizona. I was fortunate to be able to travel to Thailand with the College of Pharmacy last summer. I enjoyed my experience so much I decided to travel with the college again.
Japanese culture fascinates me as does pharmacy practice. I look
forward to learning about both the Japanese culture and pharmacy practice. I
anticipate meeting the Japanese students and faculty from Kobe Gakuin
University and Osaka University. Most importantly, I am looking forward to the
food ;).
My main concern is the humidity in Japan. I have lived in the
desert all my life and humidity is NOT something I’m used to. I learned a few
tricks in Thailand that I hope will make ~80% humidity easier to bear.
I can’t wait to meet everyone!
